I am not a big master as you said, I love to be trained. Yessterday, I come across my friend , a Korean instructor teaching a group of Korean. Two of his student can carve turns with only one skis on snow. They still paid to be trained by my friend on all mountain skiing.

You can't improve your skiing by go to the forum and reading instruction book. AMS ( all mountain skiing )is more complicated than GRS (groom) run skiing.

Yes, I agree on that. I enjoy more on being taught than teaching. I took another L2 exam prep (skiing part) clinic today. The trainer told me that I was not ready to go. He pointed out tons of my problems. I understand that I have had those bad habits for more than 10 years. I told him that I had sent my registration form and I got to give it a shot. It's really hard for me to get rid of the problems in such a short period of time. He told me that I would fail if I ski with those problems. Guess what ... after teaching 2 lessons, I skied the rest of today only on blue trails with buckles off (that's what he told me to practice that way to get rid of my problems). Anyway ...

I got some 路邊社 消息 that you are no longer considered as a pmts student since you said you won't attend a pmts course in the near future.

To prove the 路邊社 消息 is just a rumour, why don't you forward a link from the pmts forum and prove you are still considered as pmts student

NSS is a fair game. norman got so many things wrong fundamentally. PMS does not like students to learn technique that is contradictory. It is harmful based on unscientific observation (by 路邊社). It is often observed (by 路邊社) that non-PMS skier can have good improvement when they pick up one or two things from PMS.

Learning from a good skiing system is always a good thing but one can't just learn from the book and from the forum without attending their courses. Even one attend a course few times doesn't mean they fully understand the whole system.

I am going with my wife to do some shopping of the ski suits for my family and also it's my 25th wedding anniversary so going back to the place we went for honeymoon,
will ski for 3 days.

now it's 4am in the morning, can't sleep.

10 years ago, buying ski wear is very easy in japan since a lot of shops, now most shops selling snowboard wear, last year still ok but this year was bad, the biggest shop only got i level selling ski wear verse 2 level last year. Will see

as i can ski every weekeng , taking my ski :face (330):video is not my concern in japan
