That is nonsense, again, as you trivialized the term, "everything is everything" is meaningless/“說了白說.” Alpine skiing, as a sport, has an "efficiency" element involved. Yes, everything that is out of balance, and out of energy falls; nevertheless, so-called "高手" can tweak those physical laws so they don't run out of "balance and energy" so that the skiing continues; that is the result of "efficiency," among other factors. So, no, not everyone can be a "高手."

pku 寫:What a stubborn old man. You shouldn't drop your conclusion before getting some research. A guy having a clip on Austria ski hill cannot be a CSIA instructor. You need to use your brain more. Don't just dream how good you are all the time. This guy is a CSIA L4, CSIA L3 Examiner. His base is on Mount Washington at Vancouver Island, B.C. Canada.
I'm not sure who is cheating who, nevertheless, an Austrian ski comp presented by a CSIA L2 instructor, to illustrate, as always, the techniques that you cannot do, that is 掛羊頭賣狗肉. So this guy is good, what about it? If the snow that good/easy, I can do the samething too.
That is VERY pathetic for a guy claiming he's a ski expert but we all know it's normal because you are just a stubborn old man skiing everyday without improvement :face (340):
I think I have proved to you that my "improvement" is beyond your complehension. All your demos are in good skiing conditions, can they do the same when the snow is scarcely, or nonskiable conditions?

I know you can do short turns without poles on Trail, super green slope. Norman can do carve turns on the slope. Just like you, on super green slope.
Now you argue like norman, "自欺欺人.” So, the question, "Are you trying to replace norman to weave you 弱慢族的“包腳布”?"
The chairlift I often take on Whistler pass 2 terrain park and I don't really see skiers no using poles there
What you see or don't see is no longer relevant, it is already in the history.

"高手" can tweak those physical laws.

I'm so surprise that u said this. Could you tell me what's physical laws? I think you could take the Nobel prize if u could proof that. LOL.

We have post enough CSIA short turn and mogul videos here. I'm just asking you to perform like that and show us a video. That's too much a request? You claim you are a 高手 but can't show us. Should I said that you lost your credibility?

It was Bob who said that a real expert should able to perform any move and drill on slope with ease. You can't do what Bob said, but still call yourself as expert? Who you want to lie too? To us, or to Bob?

I didn't trivialized the term, "everything is everything". In order to proof me wrong, I ask you to name one thing in Norman skiing that doesn't follow physics law. You can't do that, right? So according to your theory, Norman is an expert too.

And if you dont agree that Norman is an expert, then something is wrong in you logic.

No, that just a matter of speaking, if you interpret it as you think, you are not too bright. By "高手can tweak those physical laws" I meant that 高手 can efficiently utilize those laws to their advantage, and the laymen think that they tweaking them. Do you know the physical laws that related to the skiing?

Wrong requests. I don't do other style, and no reason to, nevertheless, I do do their hills/mountains, and that's the skills of 高手。
It was Bob who said that a real expert should able to perform any move and drill on slope with ease. You can't do what Bob said, but still call yourself as expert? Who you want to lie too? To us, or to Bob?
That's what Bob said, but not what I agree, can any of you experts do my style as he claims? As he said, no, so what he said also not-true. And I don't drill either, that is, every run is a run by itself.

Your words lack of credibility, why I would worry how you gapper/弱慢族think? Here's what I've figured about you Whistler group,

Norman's skiing follows the physics laws all right, just "NOT efficient," so he cannot do what he claims. If you think that norman is an expert, then you too "瞽盲不視." You are chasing “文字獄的牛角尖”like norman, so the logic problem is yours.

Thanks for showing us how bad is your English or Chinese language. Nobody would say tweaking physical laws.

So you think you know all the physics related to skiing? Could you name them all, please? If you can't, maybe you aren't an expert as your claimed.

There are many times that you keep mention that Bob is a respectable person in skiing knowledge. Why you never said you don't agree with him when you mentioned how much he like your skiing.

None of us here claimed we are expert (maybe except Norman). So I don't have to do your style to claim anything. It was you who claimed to be an expert. So nice try there to redirect a question. However, there is nothing proved what Bob said is not true.

No need to thank me, that (what you don't understand) is just your linguistic handicap.
So you think you know all the physics related to skiing? Could you name them all, please? If you can't, maybe you aren't an expert as your claimed.
I do know all the physics related to skiing, but too much works to explain them to a little knowledge who doesn't want to listen, so I won't. And you gappers have already slipped into perpetuated denial, so, it doesn't matter what you think.

There are many times that you keep mention that Bob is a respectable person in skiing knowledge. Why you never said you don't agree with him when you mentioned how much he like your skiing.
I agree with Bob all right, you are only twisted your words to cheat yourself.
None of us here claimed we are expert (maybe except Norman). So I don't have to do your style to claim anything. It was you who claimed to be an expert. So nice try there to redirect a question. However, there is nothing proved what Bob said is not true.
If what Bob said is true, I wasn't wrong.

"I contend that few skiers on any mountain could imitate him."

"it is also true that anyone who cannot ski like Snowbender is certainly not an expert."

"Anyone would benefit from turning Snowbender's "style" into a drill and seeking to master it, even if you don't like skiing that way."

"Snowbender's "exercise" is helping him master many important nuances of expert skiing, including subtle edge control, mastery of rotational (angular) momentum, and fore-aft balance. As an exercise, he is developing a "touch" that few skiers have, but all would benefit from."

And your non-expert claim is only your reversed egotism.
Again you're practicing your so-called "shameless deny" here. I'm doing a conversation with you here using fact. You call us as gapper/弱慢族, I don't call you anything to insult you. You're the one who lack of integrity and lost your creditability.
No, when I pointed out your facts were wrong, then you turned into the perpetuate denials, that's the fact that makes your group "gapper/弱慢族."

You may not call me anything, but your posting action does, you Whistler group are only "以小人之心度君子之腹," "鄉愿"而已.

"You critics lack of integrity, and your words have no creditability."

Yes, this has been really boring. It had been over 10 years that this same conversation being repeated and repeated on different forum with different group of people. Every time you are using the same deny and same wordings to attack others and defending yourself.

Nothing is new this time and thats why it is boring. Be honest, no one really care how you like to ski, whatever style you want. You could claim yourself as a super expert in Taichi skiing. Nobody could say a word. However, from our point of views, Taichi skiing is not everything about skiing. There are many aspect in skiing that you cannot do well, so how possible you claim yourself as a skiing expert without proving that you can do everything well.

No, Taichi Skiing is not everything about skiing, but "Life," and skiing is only a medium to enjoy "Life" and to transcend it into "Unism," the state of "one with the universe."
