snowbender 寫:One day late? Alright, you may have just avoided the worst of this winter storm. It was forecasted “rain” today for South Lake Tahoe, and it turned out snowed all day, and the heavy precipitation, rain and snow, has yet to come through tonight, and snow will linger through Wednesday. Thursday cloudy, Friday sunny, and the weekend, snow resume.

I’ll ski with my wife on Thursday, so I’ll ski with you on Friday. (Are you alone?) We can meet at the entrance of Gunbarrel Express (chair lift) at 10am Friday. Gunbarrel Express is the only lift out of Cal Base heading up mountain, below is the ever famous “Gunbarrel,” you might want to check it out yourself, not sure about the moguls, but the snow going to be thick.

I’ll call you Thursday night to confirm our meeting time and place.

pku 寫:The line up for the bus to California side is ridiculously long. Gondola is running dead slow and stopping any time.

We decide to take a day off and enjoy the view of Lake Tahoe.

It's smart not skiing today and competing with the crowds.
