If you still can make “short turn on icy terrain ,” your “icy terrain” is not “icy” enough. And yes, slipping turn and side slip are the best way to handle icy conditions.

Movies are still expressing an idea, don't they? And movies’ motions can express the idea better than books sometime. Advised you before, high level skills, doesn't matter what games you play, are all mental. If you cannot think of, you cannot do it, then you won't have the skills. And you are lucky, both of the actors were accomplished martial artists/swordsmen, so what you see maybe the closest to the real thing you can get, shorter to “enlightenment” itself. But you can't see it? Sorry for you.

No, that's only “your” idea that doesn't work, so, as you are bewildered, you are actually “living without living.” As your “living world” is too small, smoke some marijuana may help you to expand your mind, but you can't, marijuana can't help a little mind with little knowledge.

好像是你的 idea cannot work , 什麼 Gravity , transfer from potential energy to kinetic energy, 在陡坡，由 potential energy 轉做 kinetic energy 急，但你轉彎技術其差，謂有用橫滑把時間拖長，把 energy 都浪費掉，而沒有把轉化而成的 kinetic energy 好好利用成有效的滑雪方法。 什麼太極走圓更加完全做不到出來。
