Actually, I asked my family doctor and the opinion is similar to your point - 彈跳的著地力會傷軟骨 but 對每年只滑十多天雪的人影響不大, especially just 1 or 2 days in the moguls. Of course, it is assumed that you can manage yourself in the moguls.

Thanks for speaking the truth. It is especially important for the professional who ski moguls day to day. There is also another risk in skiing mogul. From what I see the risk of tearing the ACL is higher when you have to land because one of the main cause of ACL tearing is hyper-extension when landing, which is non-existen in the other method of skiing moguls.

Sure, this risk should be taken into account. The doctor also told me that ACL injury is not uncommon. Even football, player is also facing with this risk.

yes, a doctor in Wengen told me there are about 14 suspected cases every week. There are ACL risk in windsurfing too. I have one friend who torn his ACL when windsurfing. In fact i never put any of my feet into the board pocket in high wind. That way I can not surf very fast but at the advantage of saving my ACL. So, the importance is to know what risk one is taking when performing dangerous movements. Everyone have a choice.
