Waiting time for some of the rides are hours in the afternoon so I get him a flash pass to be able to make reservation and to go to front of the line

There are three levels. I get him the $94 one. There is a ride X2 that is very popular. It is so popular that we have to pay $15 per ride to get in front and this is on top of Flash Pass. My son lost his flash pass during a ride. I pay to $250 fee for losing the pass. I forgot the ticket price, it is not too bad, between $40 and $50. Everything I pay for my son's ride is about $400.

now i understand why people say its great to have a rich father.

The question is: Will you pay $100 to skip the line if you need to wait an hour in the lift line when you fly all the way to ski in New Zealand? I think the park set the admission ticket price too low and they have too many people visiting even on non-weekend.

this is true too. i did pay for private instruction in nz just for using the ski-school queue, which effectively a priority queue.
