我在想只要腳有力的都會, 是不特別. 但我想應該有其他原因吧.

The trouble here is all nearer and visible turns are wedge turns. I wonder weather it's a core skill in CSIA. This guy is aiming for L3 already. And a respected member said:pku 寫:There are too many situation that one can show a wedge in one's skiing:
So I think this guy is at least level 2.5 and is making wedge turns all the way.
He is not making wedge just the tail of his skis slide away at the end but his turns are smooth and round. ( turns not perfect )ams 寫:The trouble here is all nearer and visible turns are wedge turns. You are too smart to post that if you want to have a real technical discussion.ams 寫:The trouble here is all nearer and visible turns are wedge turns. I wonder weather it's a core skill in CSIA. This guy is aiming for L3 already. And a respected member said:

I like your postsskier888 寫:You are too smart to post that if you want to have a real technical discussion.
Hi Everyone.
Im currently in training for the CSIA 3, which I hope to pass end of this season. Iv been working on a few things, but main feedback is based on aft balance relating to flex and extension. Im usually quite heavy on the front of my boots, so when I come to flex to allow my COM to come back to my BOS, Iv little option but to bend my knees alot.
Here Im trying to keep my ancle extended - on the gas pedel feeling the back of my boot. Im rounding my back more than usual with arms further forward to try and keep in balance fore-aft.
Any MA would be great.
Thankyou!
TheRusty 寫:Danny,
You are bending your knees and extending your ankles. You've definitely fixed your problem of being heavy on the front of the boots. You have fixed it most impressively. Too impressively. Although I've recently seen a world cup slalom race where the racers had a lot of forward lean above the waist, this is a bit too much. You probably need to get your ankle flex to go to half way between where you were and where you are now. That will reduce your bend at the waist and get more of your mass centered between the bindings.
What's up with the double pole touch on the left turns?

叫人大師己是人身攻擊,真想討論wedge何不拿自己的片來評,妳只是在撩是非,all mountain skier except mogul 大師,妳的朋友低太極還好嗎?ams 寫:here is csia level 2 asking for ma. I m not good enough to offer help but I can see a super wedge and super backseat. is that all due to wedge? wedge exit or wedge entry?

Its a big improvement. I didn't read whe advises given and this video but the one posted for MA. I beleive he got some very enlightening instruction since the very first.skier888 寫:He fixed it in the latest video. I think he is using a different technique for balance/weight transfer.

B2L2 has a very good point.B2L2 寫:ams, do you ever wonder why there isn't a single person over epic comments on his "wedge"? Worth some thought too.
Sure, let's bet us$10,000. We both put $5'000 deposit. Loser pay the ticket, let' do it.beg 寫:quote=ams;11484]no money to ski in whistler in the sense not worth it. I ll go new zealand this july welcome to join me. and i always available in window of the world.![]()
You've got that right. I rate good wedge skiing as a good foundation for skiing; slow but stable, wedge is a very good technique for the beginners to learn skiing on, however, the same advantage turns into intermediate skiers' "bottle neck," and becomes 小知小人的 "holy grail" for bashing on the net. Why it is a non-issue? You only need one ski to turn, so, if the outside ski/dominated ski has proper turning force on it, and the inside ski has no interfering force to prevend it turns, the turn will turn well, even with a wedge stance. So, skiing with wedge is not a technical problem, but appearance one, it doesn't look good. Nevertheless, that's only little knowledge's mentality, and real skiers enjoy the skiing with it,Observer 寫:B2L2 has a very good point.
Everyone pointing at Dan's MA with a slight wedge at times is "barking up the wrong tree"
I bet most did not read through the thread:
http://www.epicski.com/forum/thread/...m-a-for-csia-3
which is very technical and with quite some arguments. Wedge is a "non-issue"
