Pku - Thanks for sharing these wonderful videos. They are so good and so strong! Are they CSIA L4 skiers?

Just the ski instructing job is not very rewarding , I mean money .

I heard an accident happen to one of them, during chopping wood on the mountain in the summer and got killed.

Sorry to hear about the accidence, is he the person who got into the accidence? Good skiing, but I think him "jumped" too much on his mogul runs. How do they handle "bumpy & icy mixed trails"? Unfortunately, that's what we got at Heavenly for the moments.

Eric Rousseau died in the accident.

He worked at the Blackcomb side and he was the examiner of the L4. I heard his skiing is among the strongest on Whistler. He did cliff jump too. I think he just use the bump to get airborn sometimes to make his skiing look more exicting. It won't be any problem for him to ski those bumpy and icy trail since the condition of the mid mountain of Whistler is like that. Always good snow on top, icy in the middle and get slush at the bottom.

I prefer to ski icy bump trail then icy groomed trail since the bumps can slow me down so it's easier for me to control turns.

Sorry to hear that, his mogul skiing does show some of his reckless traits, imo, "the bold dies young."

That is not exactly what I was talking about, the bumps I was talking about are formed by the loose snow that piles up along and at the bottom of icy patches, which make very inconsistent surface, and people are fallen all over the places. Nevertheless, to avoid "hijacking" your thread, I'll open another to discuss it, talk to you there.

'later, gone skiing, :)
