May I ask you a question, why do you chose that make and model of ski?
Base on what facts that let you to deduct the decision on that purchase.

As I understand it, the diffenerce is the applied pressure and the result of such action. One is voluntary and one is not.

Isn't that more or less "skiding"? So is the demo on PSIA. The purpose of that demo drill is to show controlled sliding as I have been through that drill back in my days of PNSIA, teaching at Mt. Baker.

Just the two pieces of canting platic to the boot board then you will be fine.
One suggestion is that the toe piece(for the front part), make it longer to extend the canting support towards the mid part of the foot.......If ...
