"As some of you well know, I am constantly working on my skiing. I never use TTS teams or demonstrators as my model, it's too ineffective and underdeveloped and they show no refinement. If you are going to demonstrate skiing you had better do it not just well but make it exciting and energetic, not by popping up and down, by engaging the ski.I used to look at Richie Berger. He is still a great bump skier, but in other situations I don't use him as a model any longer. I use the best of the Japanese and Koreans. I'd probably use some Austrians, but I have yet to see any good ones on You Tube besides Richie."

I like Richard Berger too although it seems that the younger Japanese younger skier got better short radius turn then him.
I met Ray Young, coach of the Korean demo team 2 weeks ago when he talked to our trainer Otto. Ray also got the CSIA L4 and worked on Whistler before but I only ski with him once.

TTS - Traditional Teaching System (e.g. xISA)
I like Richard Berger too :)
I don't know who is Harald Harb before joining this forum. I used to watch Japanese ski DVD to update my knowledge. skier888 and ams introduced PMTS to me few months ago. I found that the PMTS techniques are close to Japanese. e.g. I acquired the tipping concept more than 5 years ago from a Japanese DVD that the explanation is much better than PMTS. I was thinking why they emphasize the same thing. Now, I understand the story.

I got a trainer CSIA L-4 making short turn with very obvious tipping 8 years ago. I think Harald just emphasis and gave name to it. I am also trying to focus on this butPSBoy 寫:TTS - Traditional Teaching System (e.g. xISA)
