The snow is pretty awesome this year here!

I'm working on four videos which is a lot. Two of them will be commentaries on technique
made to address a couple things that a lot of people misunderstand. I might post them here
when they're done, but I won't be on any other forums anymore. There are too many
unwinnable arguments because of too many ridiculous and unreasonable people that post
online because no one would ever take them seriously anywhere else. Sorry, but this is the
conclusion I've come to after years of trying to talk sense into people and these videos will be
the result of that conclusion. There also won't be as much difficult snow in my videos
anymore because most internet "virtual experts" have no idea what they're looking at.

I am not talking about this forum, I like this one and I've had fun here which I why I will post
here later this year. They might all be done late. Maybe June. I've got a lot going on.

The snow is pretty awesome this year here!

Good for you. I ski Heavenly, and we got stuck on the California drought until last weekend (though I have been skiing almost every day); moisture came, first snow then turned into rain, Heavenly boasted that they received 34" of new snow, but they didn't tell you that's 34" of "sierra cement," thick, heavy , and sticky, high water contents, groomed surface after being ski over is like a mirror of ice, and ungroomed surfaces is almost unskiable). Nevertheless, the season is saved, and all we can do is to wait for the "cement" to settle.

I'm working on four videos which is a lot. Two of them will be commentaries on technique

Unfortunately, our forum also has a "virtual expert" as well, and you've got drawn in because he was using/misinterpreting your words as a "shield." But those conversations were in Chinese, so you don't have to worry about them. We do have some audients/readers/lurkers from New Zealand, Australia, and Hongkong, etc., who speak English, maybe if you open a new topic, they'll joint in?

It's good to know that I'm not alone in my assessment of online forums.

I know I'm new here....but this is starting to remind me of stuff I heard when I was 8......"make me" with a reply of "make me make you" or "talk to the hand"

We just had a huge storm but it is too much too soon. We got some pretty bad inbound avalanches. This is one of them from yesterday
